Context Research & Mapping provides project research and analysis, with special focus on environmental impact analysis, and mitigation monitoring.

In addition to assisting environmental consulting firms with environmental impact analysis documents, CRM offers full spectrum services for mitigation monitoring, ranging from writing mitigation monitoring programs to conducting field monitoring and writing annual status reports documenting the status of project mitigations. The principal of the company, Camille M. Kirk, has been involved with this type of research and analysis for nine years. Prior to founding Context Research & Mapping in 1997, Ms. Kirk worked in architecture, construction, and engineering offices providing research and analysis, project planning, project coordination, and cartographic services. She holds an M.A. in geography from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.A. in geography from the University of Texas at Austin, and also has training in mapping analysis utilizing geographic information systems (GIS). Ms. Kirk currently serves on the Society for College and University Planning Task Force for Sustainability, and served on the board of directors for the Association for Women in Architecture from 1998 through 2001. She is a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals, the Association of American Geographers, and the Society for College and University Planning.
